Let’s start with Barcelona or Gaudi city as local people call it. University of Barcelona is the oldest and one of the best ranking universities in the world. It was opened in the year 1450 and in 2009 it was recognized by Spanish Ministry of Education as a “Campus of International Excellence”. The university holds 63 000 students from around the world and presents all subjects in liberal arts and sciences.
The second famous university in Barcelona is called Polytechnic University of Catalonia, commonly known as Barcelona Tech. This ivory tower presents 63 bachelor degrees, 119 master’s degrees and 58 doctoral degrees. 21 subjects are taught completely in English. The exchange program works for 130 countries with 3 000 students entering every year, to study Math, Science and Engineering.

The capital city of Spain is boasting with attractions, it is a great touristic place and an interesting place to study. Complutense Madrid is the oldest university in Madrid and one of the biggest colleges in Europe. There are 77 course study subjects, plus it has 12 cultural sport programs. Complutense was opened in 1293 by Sancho IV of Castile, by now it has over 86 000 students. According to the annual polling “El Mundo” in 2013, the university was ranked the number one place to study in Spain.
Autonomous University of Madrid. This university has gained its popularity in the 20th century. It is one of the most prestigious academies in the country and one of the top 200 universities in the world. UAM (in short) has 30 000 students with 15 00 international students. UAM is focused on individual attention; each class has no more than 15 people in it. In addition, the place has the best language classes that can be attended by regular scholars as well as the visitors of the city.

Seville is the most desirable place to study because of its warm climate, welcoming people and fantastic attractions. Its main place to study is University of Seville, usually called simply US. It holds 70 000 students, offering 60 bachelor and 70 master’s degrees. The University of Seville provides its learners with dorms, books and laptops free of charge.
